A retention cistern is used for rainwater retention

Unlike cisterns for the recovery of service and utility water, a retention cistern has the task of regulating the rainwater balance. Heavy rains or irregular rainfall can not immediately or evenly drain or seep away everywhere. The retention cistern assumes the function of a buffer.

Buffer space between inflow and outflow

Retention volumes for retention tanks are mandatory in the municipalities. For construction combined with utility water extraction, choose the cistern size as large as possible to add to your personal "buffer".
