Concrete slabs are among the cheapest floor anchors. The main part consists of a low-cost concrete backing, which is reinforced with fibers in large panels. The deciding factor for the prices is the facing concrete that forms the surface. It can contain different additional materials and be processed in different ways.
Properties of the rear concrete
The backing concrete, which consists of concrete slabs of up to ninety percent, acts as a carrier and stabilizing element. The quality of the type of concrete used can be determined by several criteria. The bulk density determines the weight and thus the stability and compressive strength of the concrete slabs. Another factor is the additions and surcharges.
More stable fiber concrete has a higher base price and additives can affect prices, such as solidification accelerators and air entraining agents. The pores are an important quality feature that determines the strength of the concrete slabs. For normal concrete slabs, which are laid as floor fixing, the prices for the concrete types play a subordinate role.
The facing concrete determines prices
The facing concrete has a great influence on the prices. Many material additions are possible, ranging from color pigments over different Betonkörnungen up to splinters made of natural stone. Colorless gray facing concrete without additives is the cheapest, gradients and natural rocks can raise prices. Associated with the gifts is the processing of the surfaces. Ground or blasted surfaces increase prices as well as rumble, where the facing concrete is given an irregular structure by tapping and hammering. The grinding in of chamfers, the production of a roughened surface by acidification or the sealing are other factors that determine the price.

price ranges of concrete slabs
As a rule of thumb you can expect square meter prices between twelve and fifteen euros for simple gray concrete slabs without processing. Colored concrete slabs without post-processing range from 15 to 25 euros, in the polished, sealed or ground state up to 40 euros. For washed concrete slabs, you should calculate between 15 and 20 euros. For mixed with natural stone chippings facing concrete simple basalt chippings or Schmuckmarmorsplitt be used, which fanned the price range very far. For top products with diamond-ground surfaces, prices between fifty and eighty euros per square meter are common.
